Newsletter "htw.aktuell" and "studi.news"

We use the newsletter tool Brevo (provider: Sendinblue GmbH, Köpenicker Straße 126, 10179 Berlin, Germany) to send our newsletters "htw.aktuell" (for employees and lecturers) and "studi.news" (for students). Brevo is a service provider with certified data protection management (certificate 0000046350) from TÜV Rheinland GmbH.

Data collection and processing

We do not enter any personal data directly into the Brevo newsletter tool. Newsletters are sent out via e-mail distribution lists that are maintained by the university in an internal university system. Only the addresses of the e-mail distribution lists (e.g. studi.news@htw-berlin.de) are transmitted to Brevo for dispatch, not the e-mail addresses of individuals.

Tracking

Link tracking is deactivated for our newsletter. Therefore, no individual click statistics are collected or stored.

Reloading images

Our newsletters use images that are stored in the Google Cloud in Belgium. Reloading these images may result in your IP address and other technical information being transmitted to Google. If you have concerns about data protection, you can deactivate the automatic reloading of images in your e-mail programme.

Subscribe and unsubscribe

New employees, lecturers and students receive the newsletter automatically. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. Each e-mail contains an unsubscribe link for this purpose.
